Evaluations and Assessments | |

Professionally conducted assessments and evaluations formed the core of services provided by our agency at its founding and remain an important part of the work we continue to perform. Supreme Evaluation, Inc. believes that high-quality, comprehensive, thoughtful and culturally/linguistically sensitive evaluations provide important information and insights which can lead to better lives for the individuals we serve. All of the professionals who conduct evaluations for Supreme Evaluation, Inc. are appropriately licensed and/or certified by the State of New York. There is no “waiting list” for our services; cases referred to our agency are immediately assigned to qualified evaluators who promptly schedule the actual assessments at your convenience. Each evaluation results in a clearly written report which focuses on each individual’s strengths, as well as their needs. |

Why are assessments and formal evaluations useful? |

|
Professional evaluations are useful because they provide the information necessary to make critical decisions regarding education and a variety of other social matters. The purposes for which evaluations are used include, but are not limited to, the following: · Making determinations regarding educational placements and services; · Determining a diagnosis and planning treatment; · Designing effective teaching strategies to accommodate individual learning styles; · Interpreting vocational interest inventories to guide educational program participation; · Promoting success in the workforce as well as the appropriate selection of a job, career or vocation through use of a full vocational assessment and/or personality evaluations; · Gauging the progress an individual has made, particularly when read in contrast to earlier testing results; · Defining and describing the accommodations, modifications and/or supports an individual may need in order to best function in educational and employment settings; · Developing recommendations in child custody cases.
